Communication
Relationships struggling with communication will often experience one or more of these issues:
Passive Issues:
"I struggle to speak. I say I'm just an introvert, but really, I'm afraid of other people not listening to me, judging me, and not feeling understood. I also sometimes think that if I am quiet and don't speak up, then when someone does actually notice me, I can trust that they want to hear me."
Overt Issues:
"I talk and talk, but rarely do I feel deeply heard, seen, and appreciated. In fact, I often feel like people only half listen to me. I pretend this doesn't hurt my feelings, but that's not true, and sometimes I get upset about it and try to control the other person."

Confidence
Challenges with confidence can look like one or more of the examples below:
Passive Issues:
"I feel insecure all the time! Especially when I'm around people who think they're better than me or are intimidating. I tend to lose my words and can't think straight"
Overt Issues:
"I come across as highly confident to people around me, and sometimes, I even act tough or like I know it all, but underneath', I am actually afraid I'm not good enough."
Simple Meditation
Challenges with meditation can look like one or more of the examples below:
"My brain won't shut up when I meditate. I think I have ADHD. I don't meditate much but I keep feeling like I should."
"The only way I can meditate is to listen to guided meditations. This helps me keep my mind quiet enough to sit there."
"I can't hold still long enough to meditate. If I could meditate while moving I might actually do it?"
